Robert P. "Bob" Murphy is an economist and theorist of nonviolent mechanisms. He is also the chief economist at technology firm infineo, a senior fellow at the Fraser Institute, and senior economist at the Institute for Energy Research (a nonprofit organization). He has published more than a dozen books and was even ranked as the 11th most influential person in economics by Academic Influence in September 2021.
Bob received his PhD in economics from New York University and his bachelor's degree in economics from Hillsdale College.
